Sofia raisin is Thompson (sundried) raisin. that are produced and imported directly from Iran. This product is produced by drying fresh grapes under the sun and washing, drying, and sorting. This product is currently receiving attention and is quite popular. It has a great taste and reasonable price.
For more than 100 years, the most popular grape used for making raisins has been the Thompson Seedless grape. What makes sun-dried raisins “natural” is that they are sun-dried without any dipping solutions to accelerate their drying. Natural seedless raisins have a sweet, chewy, and rich flavor enjoyed by children and adults alike. Thompson Seedless grapes are usually sun-dried for a period of between 17 to 21 days.
Produced from seedless sun-dried raisins; double washed, double laser sorted and hand-picked. Coated with Trans fatty acid free vegetable oil or other edible oils and packaged in poly-lined, staple-less cartons. Passed through calibrated Fortress® metal detector; capable of detecting ferrous, non-ferrous, and stainless-steel metal contamination. Free from foreign and objectionable flavors and/or odors, excessive mold, without fermentation, excessive sand, and grit. Not insect damaged, reasonably free flow and reasonably uniform in color.

Shelf life and Storage Condition:
12 Months from Production date. Shelf life can be prolonged by 18 months if product is kept in cold storage and controlled humidity: 15°C degrees max 55% relative humidity. Goods best stored in a cool, clean and dry place, equipped with ventilation, free from pests or sources of contamination and prevented against rodent and insects. Avoid storage under direct sunlight. Avoid storage near merchandise having strong odor or which may breed insects. Rotate Stocks by using oldest first.
Goods are packed in blue food-grade liner inside corrugated boxes made with finest material suitable for food production purposes then sealed with tapes. Cartons weigh 10 kg. Cartons are labeled and marked upon customer’s requirement; countries of origin’s and destination’s standard and regulations.
