The grapes from vineyard are dipped in a solution of potassium carbonate and oil, and then spread in direct sunlight to dry. The solution speeds up the drying time significantly and also gives sultana raisins it’s unique and delicious fruity flavor, it’s lighter color and sweeter taste. Shelf life and Storage condition:
Sultana raisins shelf life is 12-18 months from the date of manufacture.
Sultana raisins should be kept in cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight.
Packaging:
Sultana raisins packed in food-grade blue polyethylene bags inside 10 kg boxes. Boxes are corrugated box made of suitable material for edible products. Boxes are sealed with tapes. Boxes are labeled and marked upon customer’s requirements and Iran’s standard organization regulations.
